Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Haim Arviv, Haim Baets – Crafting Dreams in Wood, a boutique woodworking studio at 9 Gazit St., Petah Tikva, Israel ("I", "me" or "the business"). This policy explains what information is collected when you browse the site or contact me through it, what it is used for, and what your rights are. You can use the site without providing any personal information; information is collected only when you choose to contact me.

What information is collected

• Details you fill in on forms: name, phone number, email address and the content of your message.
• For custom orders: inspiration photos and sketches you upload to the site.
• For gift voucher orders: the recipient's name, the dedication text, the number of participants and any notes.
• In the future, for purchases on the site: order and shipping details. Payment details are entered directly with the payment processor and are not stored by me.
• Technical information collected automatically: browser and device type, the pages you visited, how you reached the site and your IP address, through cookies and analytics tools (see below).

How the information is used

• To get back to you, answer your enquiry, plan and price your order, and schedule a workshop or voucher.
• To fulfill your order and to issue and send the voucher.
• To improve the site and understand which pages interest visitors, based on aggregate data.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records.

You are not legally required to provide this information. However, without a name and a way to reach you, I won't be able to get back to you or handle your order. By submitting a form on the site, you consent to the use of your information in accordance with this policy.

Marketing messages

I will not send you advertising, newsletters or promotions without your explicit consent, as required by the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 5742-1982, Section 30A (the "Spam Law"). An enquiry made through the site is used only to reply to you. If you agree to receive updates, you can unsubscribe at any time with a simple message.

Who the information is shared with

I do not sell, rent or transfer personal information to third parties for advertising purposes. Information is passed only to parties that help me run the site and the business, and only to the extent necessary:

• Wix.com, which hosts the site and stores the forms, orders and files you upload, on servers that may be located outside Israel, in accordance with its privacy terms.
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to contact me on WhatsApp, and Google Maps, whose map is embedded at the bottom of the site and opens for directions to the studio. Their use is subject to their own privacy policies, and Google may set cookies when the map loads.
• Analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel), if connected to the site, to receive aggregate usage data.
• A payment processor, once purchases are available on the site, solely to process payments.
• Authorities, where required by law or a court order.

Cookies and analytics tools

The site uses cookies, small files stored in your browser, so that the site works (for example, the shopping cart) and to measure usage: how many visitors came, where they came from and which buttons were clicked. This data is used in aggregate and does not identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

Data security and retention

The information is stored on Wix's systems, which are secured to accepted industry standards, and access to it is limited to me alone. No system is completely immune, and I make reasonable efforts to protect the information. Information from enquiries is kept for as long as it is needed to handle them and stay in touch with you, and information about orders and payments is kept for the period required by law.

Your rights

• To review the information held about you (Section 13 of the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981).
• To request that information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date be corrected, or deleted (Section 14 of the Law).
• To ask me not to contact you again, and to withdraw any consent you have given.

For any such request, contact me using the details at the bottom of this page, and I will respond promptly and no later than the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied with how your request was handled, you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority.

Minors

The site is not intended to collect information from minors. Enquiries on behalf of children, for example for a family workshop, are made by a parent.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page, with the date of the latest update.
