A shared workshop for parents and kids, couples or a group of friends. Everyone leaves with a piece of their own.

Teams and companies

A team-building day in the studio: hands-on work, laughter, and a piece each person builds themselves.

Weekly class

Regular sessions in a small group. Learn to work with the tools and build one project after another.

From the studio

This is what it looks like from the inside.

A few of the workshops held here over the years: weekly classes, birthdays, teams, and workshops I ran as a volunteer for evacuated families.

The children of Sderot at Tzur Yitzhak

In the first days of the war, dozens of families from Sderot moved to Tzur Yitzhak. I came with wooden kits, Dikla, Haim and Nati volunteered to help, and the kids built cars and trucks with wheels that really turn. Such wonderful kids.

A workshop for evacuees from the south and the north

At a Tel Aviv hotel hosting evacuees from Sderot and Kiryat Shmona, we ran a gentle woodworking workshop with kits we had prepared in advance. Kids, parents and grandparents sat together, sanding, gluing and building. Mali, Fay, Guy and Chen came to help as volunteers, and Shabtai, who sold me the wax, refused to take any money when he heard where I was going.

A 32nd birthday, father and son

Moti decided to surprise Nati, his youngest son, with a morning of woodworking for his birthday. After getting to know each other and a tour of the studio, we got to work on a swing bench. Halfway through we stopped for a real Tripolitan shakshuka, and at the end father and son left with a bench and a shared memory.

A private workshop: a gift to myself

Tova came because she wanted to treat herself this month. Five and a half hours, far more than planned, of loud music, dancing, talks about life and loads of sawdust. She worked with most of the tools in the studio herself, and drove home with a double swing bench.

'The Seven Angels', seventh session

Dorit, Eyal, Omri, Eliezer, Chen, Shai and Alexei: seven people in a weekly class who became a gang. By the seventh session they were halfway through building the double swing bench, each at their own pace, everyone helping everyone. The friendship in this group fills the soul.

A special education team wraps up the year

Shelly and her special education team were looking for a different way to close a tough year. Each of them cut, sanded, glued and assembled her own stool. Then we sat down to shakshuka and salads I made, and took loads of selfies.

Woodworking class, second session

In the second session the group kept working on cutting boards with a phrase each person chose, made of tobacco wood and maple. Meanwhile we started making rings from the same woods, and later on everyone will turn a rolling pin of their own. And as in every class, after I hosted first, this time Avi made shakshuka for everyone.

Before you come

Questions about the woodworking workshops.

Do I need woodworking experience?

No. Most people come with no experience at all. I teach you how to use every tool, guide you through every step, and everyone builds their own piece.

How long is a woodworking workshop?

A single-session workshop usually takes about four hours, and at the end you take home the piece you built. A weekly class meets over several weeks.

What do we build?

You choose a piece in advance: a double swing bench, a stool, a storage bench, a cutting board with a personal message, a planter and more. You're also welcome to bring your own idea.

Can I book a team-building or birthday workshop?

Yes. I run team-building workshops for companies and teams, and workshops for birthdays, couples and families. Tell me how many people are coming and what you're celebrating, and I'll tailor the workshop.

Where are the workshops held?

At my woodshop at 9 Gazit St. in Petah Tikva, with all the tools and materials. Group workshops can also come to you.

Can I give a woodworking workshop as a gift?

Yes, there's a gift voucher for a four-hour woodworking workshop, with a personal message. The recipient sets the date directly with me.

Gift

A private four-hour workshop in the studio, and a piece they build themselves and take home. You write a personal message, and the recipient sets the date directly with me.
